Intercontinental Capital Markets Limited (ICML) was incorporated on 1st of September 2001 as a wholly owned subsidiary of Intercontinental Bank Plc; one of the leading banking and financial services ranked by profits, market capitalisation and assets; to continue to provide the innovative, dynamic and customer oriented services that is synonymous with the "Intercontinental family".
With the liberalisation of the banking industry, Intercontinental bank took advantage of the vast opportunities available in Universal banking and transferred all it’s Investment and wholesale banking activities; which it was then known for as the lead player in the industry to ICML, creating for itself, a niche in the Investment and Capital Markets activities.
